25-Year Anniversary of our Walk for Peace - and a new Podcast

It's hard to believe that this is the 25-year anniversary of our 5000-km walk for peace from Rome to Jerusalem.
It feels like it was just yesterday.
As I read my diaries, I'm transported to those moments. I may not remember the details of every face and place, but the emotions are there. The miracles. The doubts. The many kindnesses.
This was before the age of cell phones and immediate access to information. I carried a road map, bought in every new country Alberto and I entered. I had a satellite phone for emergencies (a Nokia Communicator which looked like a brick!). My small Kodak camera needed cartridges, which I never knew when I could develop or find again. Every click became precious. Every picture, a surprise.
I especially see how my thinking about peace and the world has also changed. I'm not the same person I was 25 years ago. Who is?
The inner journey didn't end in Jerusalem. Neither for me, nor for Alberto.
I see how I have been guided to the teachings that would move me from outer action as the source of peace towards inner stillness, towards healing my judgments and fears, towards a vision of peace without opposite – a peace undisturbed by outside events, whose strength brings all into its powerful circle.
It is through this expanded understanding that I "walk" that pilgrimage for peace once again - with Alberto- in a new podcast, looking at the experiences that most marked our journey, and offering a vision that deepens the healing, removes the illusion of separation, division and conflict, and brings a #peace that unifies and loves.
I hope you will join me.
